There’s a new update coming to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles that lets you preview how your audio settings will behave while gaming.
Xbox beta members can now preview a new audio setup where users can browse and test a variety of different options, including uncompressed regular stereo, 5.1, 7.1, and Dolby Atmos for home theater.
The sound mode will animate to show which speaker in the setup is playing, allowing you to make any necessary adjustments. The feature is still being tested, and Microsoft has not yet announced when it will go live.
