Kanye’s new album DONDA 2 will only be released through its own players

The well-known rap star Kanye West did not plan to release his next album DONDA 2 on streaming platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify but chose instead. Its own hardware platform.

Kanye West (who has now changed his name to Ye) said on Instagram that Donda 2 will only be released on the Donda Stem Player, a $200 hardware device that has already sold the Built-in Donda album. It claims to allow users to customize any song and control vocals, drums, bass, effects, and more.

Developed by Master Ye’s Yeezy Tech brand in collaboration with electronics manufacturer Kano, the Donda Stem Player looks like a meat hockey puck… with a silicone exterior.

In addition to the Bluetooth connection, this player also comes with a headphone jack, USB port, volume adjustment buttons, touch-sensitive engine, four-light strips (also touch buttons), built-in 8GB storage space, and supports a variety of music formats.

The player isn’t worth $200 if it’s just hardware-wise, and the people who bought it may really just like Ye.
