The YouTube app gets the watch history search

A new feature has just been spotted in the new version of the YouTube app for Android and it allows users to search their watch history.

Going to the “History” section accessible via the “Collection” tab at the bottom right, you can now see the bar with the lens icon and the words “Search in the history of views” which allows you to perform a text search.

Pressing the “X” button to the right of the search bar closes the resulting list and restores the complete history. It could be a rather useful function as it allows you to search for a video already seen before without having to scroll through many elements most of the time.

The feature that allows you to search your watch history is available in version 17.06.33 of the YouTube app for Android, however, it may not have reached all users yet.
