PCMag reports that Samsung is experiencing delays in shipping new products due to the strong demand for the Galaxy S22 lineup from major carriers in the United States. Different models, storage and color schemes are different. Among them, the SKU with the longest waiting time listed on T-Mobile’s official website is the 512GB white Galaxy S22 Ultra. The aircraft has been extended from the original February 25 to May 15.
Samsung said in an official statement: “We are very grateful for the exciting response to the new Galaxy S22 series, but pre-orders have far exceeded initial expectations due to the unprecedented surge in consumer interest and demand.”
Samsung is still committed to delivering these devices to consumers as soon as possible, but depending on factors such as market, model configuration, color, and other factors, some customers may still wait a long time. I hope everyone can be patient and understanding.
In order to facilitate consumers to understand and purchase, PCMag specially checked the three major operators and Samsung’s official website, and compiled a correlation chart of the three models.
In addition, although Amazon and Best Buy are also taking pre-orders for the new phone, the two retail giants have yet to give an exact delivery date that will deliver on their promises.
For early pre-orders, the 256/512GB models are already priced at the same price as the 128/256GB models – you can’t pre-order the 128GB versions, they’ll be converted to 256GB pre-orders – and Samsung is offering $200 worth of accessories to pre-order customers integral.
Considering that some models are limited to specific channels, the compilation of this form is also quite a headache. For example, the 1TB version of the Galaxy S22 Ultra model only has an unlocked option (no-contract machine channel), and milk-white, graphite black, sky blue, red, and purple are also limited to Samsung’s official website.
If you really can’t wait, we still recommend that you find a nearby retail store to ask, and then choose the most suitable one from the stock in stock. A Verizon spokesman, for example, said a batch of Ultra models will arrive in stores on February 25.
Finally, even if you want to buy the international version and transfer it to the US market, you have to pay attention to whether it lacks support for some specific 5G frequency bands, and the operator may not have whitelisted it on the device.
