The Ukrainian government has raised more than $10 million in cryptocurrencies after previously calling on people to donate bitcoin and other digital tokens to support them on social media, according to blockchain analysis firm Elliptic.

The official Ukrainian Twitter account on Saturday called on people to donate cryptocurrencies after Russia began its attack on Ukraine, posting digital wallet addresses for coins such as bitcoin and ether.
