Valve is pleased to announce the official launch of Steam Deck. Starting today, Valve will send emails to the first pre-orders in the order they are received, and will ship immediately after the final payment has been made.
Gabe Newell said: “PC gamers and developers have always wanted a handheld option where they can play all the great stuff, and Steam Deck gave them that option.”
In terms of product specifications, the Steam Deck handheld is equipped with a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1280×800, supports a 60Hz refresh rate, a typical brightness of 700nit, and supports touch. The size of the whole machine is 298×117×49mm and the weight is about 669g.
In terms of core performance, Steam Deck is equipped with an architecture combination of AMD Zen2 CPU and RDNA2 GPU. The paper performance of the chip is roughly equivalent to the Ryzen 3 Pro 4450U+MX450, which can run the latest 3A masterpieces smoothly.
