Bungie wrote on the help page: Destiny 2 is not supported on Steam Deck or any Proton system using Steam Play unless Windows is installed and running. Attempting to launch Destiny 2 on Steam Deck via SteamOS or Proton Players will not be able to enter the game and will return to their library for a short period of time. Players who attempt to bypass Destiny 2 incompatibility will experience a game ban.
