Nonetheless, Snapchat will continue to offer its app in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine because of its importance as a basic communication tool for people.

Through partnerships with media publishers on its Discover content platform, Snapchat is focused on delivering accurate information and news coverage to its global community.

Additionally, it is continuously monitoring its platform for evidence of abuse or disinformation. The company further mentioned that it only featured content from verified media publishers on Discover and never allowed Russian state media to publish content.

Additionally, Snapchat is providing emergency assistance to help its team members move safely. In addition, it demonstrated its commitment to helping Ukrainian team members and their families, while also supporting its communities and pledging more than $15 million in humanitarian aid to support organizations that are working to provide direct relief to Ukrainians.
