The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) has released figures for February 2022, which show yet another increase, with UK EVs already taking 17.7% of the market, while Tesla took just a week to take its Fourth place result.

Some media believe that as Tesla begins to deliver the Model Y, a larger increase is expected in March. SLA’s factory in Glenheide near Berlin has finally received official approval about two years after it started, and it is expected that local Tesla models produced in Europe will be delivered in the near future.
