New leaks suggest that the upcoming Mi 12 Ultra flagship phone may be equipped with a Sony image sensor, and may ditch the Samsung sensor on the Mi 11 Ultra.
According to information obtained by SamMobile, the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra codenamed l1 may switch to the Sony IMX8xx main camera, equipped with a disc-shaped three-camera, including a 50MP main camera, a 48MP 5x telephoto camera and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera.
It was previously reported that the Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra will be equipped with a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, equipped with a center punch 2K Samsung flexible OLED screen, a built-in 4860mAh large-capacity battery, and support 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, The camera is expected to be co-branded with Leica.
