In Monday’s iOS/iPadOS 15.4 software update, Apple introduced 123 new emojis to its already vast symbol library, including all 112 emojis in Emoji 14.0, which the Unicode Consortium approved last September. As the biggest addition since iOS 11.1, this time we see Melting Face, Face with Peeking Eye/Holding Back Tears, Troll, and icons such as Pregnant Man.
Apple users are already quite familiar with the “Face with Open Eyes and Hand Over Mouth” on iOS 11.1. But in iOS 15.4, “Face with Hand Over Mouth” has been changed to closed eyes to cater to the entertainment expressions of other manufacturers such as Google.
Also included in this update are two gender-neutral emojis, including “Person with Crown” and the controversial “Pregnant Person/Pregnant Man”. As for body parts, this update introduces Biting Lip, and then the Fantasy Creatures subcategory welcomes Troll.

The final 18 emojis cover a variety of categories, including “Empty Nest/Nest with Eggs”, “Beans/Jar”, and “Playground Buoy/ID Card” (Playground Bouy/Identity Card) and other elements.
