According to the latest report, the loading speed of the current generation console platform GTA 5 released on March 15, 2022, is about 3 times faster than the previous generation PS4 version.
In VGC’s test, they tested the event from the main menu launch to loading into the single-player story mode, and the final result was that the PS5 version loaded in about 27 seconds, while the PS4 version took more than a minute and a half.
Although the PS5 version of GTA 5 does not load as fast as other flagship games on the platform, such as Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles can load the entire game in seconds. But VGC believes this is still a huge improvement over the previous generation.
GTA5 will be 75% off on PS5 and 50% off on Xbox Series X|S. Online mode will be free for PS Plus subscribers for the next three months, but will then be sold separately like the Xbox Series.
