Logic Pro X macOS version 10.7.3 released

According to the latest report, Apple has released updates for its Logic Pro X, GarageBand and MainStage music apps, bringing new features, stability improvements and more. These new updates are relatively small, but they all add some new features to Apple’s suite of music-making apps.

For example, in version 10.7.3 of Logic Pro X, Apple added spatial audio monitoring with dynamic head tracking to several AirPods and Beats by Dre headphones. The monitoring will allow musicians to more accurately preview spatial audio playback on Apple Music.

In addition, Apple says that the Logic Pro X is also optimized for the performance of the M1 Max and M1 Ultra chips on the new Mac Studio. The update also includes a host of bug fixes and performance improvements, as well as other tweaks to music creation features such as the Step Sequencer, Sampler, and Live Loops.

On Apple’s MainStage app, the app used for live performances, Apple implemented a new refined design, expanded the sound library with more patches and kits, and optimized performance for the M1 Max and M1 Ultra Mac Studio models.

Apple also released version 10.4.6 of its free GarageBand music app. According to Apple’s release notes, this release contains stability improvements and bug fixes. All three application updates are currently available for download from the Mac App Store.
