Fortnite is offline, but the news is leaking: Doctor Strange, Battle Pass and much more

As widely announced, at 08:00 this morning Fortnite was put offline to allow the Epic Games technicians to prepare the ground for the arrival of the new Update 20.00, already available for download on all platforms, and at the beginning of season 2 of Chapter 3.

Unlike what happened in the past, this time the new season will start without a real event. The official changelog has not yet been shared, but the data miners immediately got to work analyzing the files of the new patch, discovering most of the upcoming news.

The new Battle Pass is called The Resistance and is anticipated by a trailer that shows, among other things, tanks and fighter planes. It introduces eight new characters as usual, but as you can see in the leaked images, the real star is the Doctor Strange of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, whose presence had already been anticipated by the leaks of the last few weeks.

The data miners have also managed to extrapolate the new map of the island, which you can view in detail at the bottom of this news, and obtain confirmation of the return of Remote Controlled Explosives, Choppa Helicopters and the introduction of a new weapon called Striker Burst Rifle.

There are also new loading screens, a new umbrella of victory, and new vehicle modifications. Very relevant for the gameplay is the introduction of the Vertical Cableways, which will make it easier to reach high positions. As usual, the news is many.
