EDGE has published its new editorial issue, and the British magazine has unveiled the results of the reviews of the most relevant games that have hit the market in recent weeks. Despite the renowned inflexibility of the editors of the magazine, Elden Ring managed to earn an overall rating of 10/10.
The Perfect Score of the FromSoftware title, which is currently the most played Call of Duty on Xbox in the US, was commented by EDGE: “This is not the first time a Miyazaki game has arrived and the gaming landscape seems to be transforming. As you play, there is a feeling that the foundations are moving beneath you, that game development has been rewritten. We didn’t feel that way from Breath of the wild.
Elden Ring thus surpasses Gran Turismo 7, which despite it winning an excellent 9/10: Beyond its technical excellence, Gran Turismo 7 is deeply, idiosyncratically unique in a way that first-party games rarely are. It’s weird and sometimes restrictive, downright uncool and in its serious celebration of automotive culture at times. even a little overbearing. But this is a racing simulation with a real soul, made with genuine passion and not a little eccentricity. Twenty-five years later, Gran Turismo has never felt so vital.
