Elden Ring not working on PS5 and PS4 after the patch? Server in prolonged maintenance

Elden Ring went through a short maintenance period at the release of the new patch, but FromSoftware reported that the works are completed and the game is back online, but some problems seem to persist on PS5 and PS4 leading to the maintenance of the offline state.

As previously reported by FromSoftware, the release of the new patch 1.03.2 of Elden Ring, which among other things system bugs and a particularly problematic glitch, required server maintenance which resulted in the need to keep the game offline.

This maintenance started at 9:00 this morning and should have resolved shortly after, but the developers have reported that they have had to extend the work for some additional time on PlayStation and PC.

According to reports from IGN USA, the Steam servers are back online but the problems on PS5 and PS4 seem to persist, perhaps related to the technical problems that the PlayStation Network is currently experiencing, following the recent system update for PS5 and PS4 by this morning.

For this reason, some users are still reporting the inability to log in to Elden Ring, at least as far as the online features are concerned. In any case, the issue should be resolved shortly and it is not clear whether it currently affects the European and Italian area as well.
