Mortal Kombat 11 is a fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios. It was released in 2019. After three years, according to comic book, the game finally removed the much-maligned D encryption technology.
However, NetherRealm did not provide patch notes for the update, which we only learned about thanks to SteamDB. The update applies to PC only. D encryption (Denuvo) technology is an anti-cracking technology for pirated games, however, this technology will have a certain negative impact on game performance and will force players to check online.
So this technology is not popular with many players. Games with the technology removed are generally smoother, although sometimes there is no visible difference.
