Samsung’s gaming hub with Stadia and GeForce Now is delayed

Samsung’s gaming hubs are designed to draw attention to new games on TVs in 2022 and also guide you to the cloud gaming services Google Stadia and Nvidia GeForce Now. Now, however, the South Koreans have to admit again that they can only submit this function after the launch.

In 2022, Samsung is upgrading the home screen from a menu bar at the bottom of the screen to a full-screen experience. Whether you see this as an advantage or rather as a disadvantage is up to you. LG has already taken a similar approach. In any case, only the first two of the three central areas of media, ambient and gaming will be available at launch. The gaming hub will follow later.

Samsung had already confirmed the postponement in February 2022 and at the time spoke of a release “in the summer of 2022”. In the meantime, one has adjusted his statements and only speaks generally of “in the course of the year”. In addition, availability will vary by region. In some areas, the Gaming Hub will follow later than in others – in some, it is not planned to start at all.

Germany is supposed to get the gaming hub, but we still don’t know anything specific at the moment. Incidentally, older TV models should not be able to enjoy them – not even from 2021.
