Overwatch 2 concept art leak confirms Game Pass

A leaked concept image for Overwatch 2 appears to reveal the Pass feature and the game’s UI. A concept image showing Overwatch 2’s main interface menu was posted on ArtStation a few days ago, showing all the options players can expect. Although this concept map is not official, it was uploaded by Blizzard senior UI artist Jayson Kirby, so it is highly credible.

According to leaked screenshots, Overwatch 2 will have a Battle Pass, a challenge. In addition to these features, the screenshots also show the rewards for playing Quick Play. It appears that when players play Quick Play, they gain hero experience and unlock talents.

Also on ArtStation is Jayson Kirby’s explanation for this screenshot: The goal is to further simplify and refine the UI of Overwatch. The focus of the menus is to showcase hero details at close range. As players progress through the menus, camera and hero positions are upgraded. /Pose will also change dynamically.

According to Jayson Kirby’s social media introduction, he was a senior UI artist for Overwatch 1 and was transferred to an unannounced project after March 2020. The following is a screenshot of the PvP BETA of Overwatch 2.

Considering that the Overwatch 2 BETA beta test only started on April 26, these screenshots have already been leaked, which means that Overwatch 2 is already quite complete.

Blizzard recently stated that Overwatch 2’s PvP and PvE modes will be launched separately, but did not say when the full versions of both modes will be released. This means that Blizzard will be able to release the PvP version of Overwatch 2 before the PvE mode.
