The current Safari Technology Preview version is built on the Safari 15.4 update, which includes the Safari 15 features introduced in macOS Monterey. Users can get “Safari Technology Preview” updates through the software update mechanism in System Preferences.

Apple launched the Safari Technology Preview to gather feedback from developers and users on its browser development process. Safari Technology Preview runs side-by-side with the existing Safari browser, and although it is designed for developers, it does not require a developer account to download.
