In the past few hours, OnePlus has attracted everyone’s attention thanks to a leak that wanted the return of the Ace series but not as OPPO, but precisely in the brand of Pete Lau. To this, there is the addition of what we can define as a real confirmation from the Consumer President of the company, who seems to be already using it, as well as from a leak in which certain images appear.
How do we become aware of this indiscretion? On the Weibo platform, OnePlus Consumer President Liu Fengshuo wrote a post about a device called “一 加 Ace “, but what does that mean? For the uninitiated, the characters seen above are those of the OnePlus name in Chinese, so the Manager was using a OnePlus Ace. And this, considering that the post was later deleted, further feeds the possibility that something is there for real.
As it was already evident in the previous information, if the Ace series were to return to the market, it would remain an interesting range of smartphones with excellent quality. An example is the hypothetical use of the MediaTek Dimensity 8100, but also of a possible fast charge at 150W. This last clue, among other things, would be confirmed by a model being tested by the WHYLAB leaker, which however keeps the smartphone in the usual protective cover from prying eyes.
Finally, it seems it is also possible to find a 6.7 ″ AMOLED 120 Hz display, a 4,500 mAh battery and a 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor, now practically abused by OPPO and company.
