The At a Glance widget has an annoying bug with the weather on Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro

The At a Glance widget is one of the exclusive functions of Google’s Pixels and, although it still has a lot of unexpressed potential, in its current form it is not even free from bugs, such as the one related to the weather encountered by some owners of Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro.

In short, after a little more than a week ago we told you in detail about the latest interesting addition to the At a Glance widget, today we have to bring you a decidedly less pleasant news.

Widget At a Glance: weather bug on Google Pixel 6

According to what was told on Reddit by several users who own Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro, weather information is disappearing from the At a Glance widget.

The PurficPourBY user, owner of one of these models, managed to restore the correct functioning of the widget with a very simple remedy: press and hold the date to open the settings of At a Glance, deactivate and then activate the weather information again (“See more features” > “Personalization” > “Location History” > “Turn on for accurate weather info and location-related features”).

Unfortunately for the Mountain View house, several owners of Pixel 6 series smartphones complain about the bug, with one user even reporting that he had to install a third-party app — CARROT Weather — to overcome the problem.

Other users still report similar experiences had in the past with other models of the Pixel series, for example polyblackcat speaks of a similar bug initially present on the Google Pixel 4a 5G, not sparing Google a – deserved – ear pull for shortcomings related to the much publicized attention to detail.

And in fact, although bugs of this type are not so serious as to compromise the experience of using the devices, they can only make you turn up your nose.
