Tesla introduced Model Y standard endurance full-time four-wheel drive to employees, starting at $60,000

According to reports, Tesla has begun to deliver the Model Y new car Standard Range AWD (standard endurance full-time four-wheel drive), starting at $60,000, but currently only open to employees.

Last week, Tesla hosted a big brand event called “Cyber Rodeo” in Austin, Texas, to celebrate the official opening of Tesla’s Texas factory. At the time, Tesla delivered the plant’s first Model Y production vehicles.

Curiously, Tesla didn’t reveal any details about the Model Y, such as specs and pricing. The new car is equipped with a new 4680 battery and structural battery pack technology, which results in a significant difference in the different specifications of the car in the new Model Y.

However, Tesla did not put the new car on the market for sale. Everything we know is seen in a document submitted to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The document shows that the car has a range of 279 miles, as well as a four-wheel-drive powertrain, and is known as the “Model Y Standard Range AWD”.

that means tesla may have just delivered the car to employees through an insider deal, which explains why it never appeared on the company’s website, industry insiders said.

Subsequently, Tesla employees also confirmed this. The employees said Tesla communicated with them on April 9 and is currently selling the new Model Y internally and will sell it to existing customers in the coming weeks.

It starts at $59,990, which is $3,000 less than the Model Y Long Range AWD, which has a range of about 330 miles.

In addition, it takes 5 seconds for the new car to accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour, slightly slower than the Model Y Long Range AWD’s 4.8 seconds.

In addition to the changes to the drivetrain, the new Model Y, manufactured at the Texas facility, features a number of new features, including a magnetic center console armrest and a luggage rack.

At last week’s Cyber Rodeo campaign, Tesla delivered the first 20 Model Ys to employees. Shipments to employees who ordered the car are expected to continue in the coming weeks. It is then released to the company’s website for sale along with the “Long Endurance” and “High Performance” versions.
