Samsung emulates Apple’s Multi Control: it can make the Tab S8 the second screen of the Galaxy Book2

As first-line manufacturers, Samsung and Apple always have mutual “references” in terms of functionality. Recently, Samsung “copied” Apple’s Universal Control function on iPadOS and macOS systems, calling it “Multi Control”, and has been launched in the Galaxy Book2 series and the Galaxy Tab S8 series.

The Galaxy Book2 is a laptop that allows Samsung users to use the Galaxy Tab S8 series as the second screen of their notebooks through the “Multi Control” feature, with many options and touchscreen controls. With Samsung’s new Multi-Control feature, users can interact with the Galaxy Tab S8 using their Galaxy Book2 notebooks.

With Samsung’s “Multi Control” feature, you can interact seamlessly on both devices. For example, you can use the trackpad on the Galaxy Book 2 to navigate on the Galaxy Tab S8, which includes dragging files from one device to another. Plus, you can type on two devices with one keyboard, allowing you to be more productive.

While “Multi Control” is a welcome addition, this is a blatant “copy” of Apple’s Universal Control feature by Samsung. Universal Control works much the same way. You can work with your iPad and Mac, or with a mac with another Mac.
