Once again the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are the center of attention for an annoying bug that afflicts them, yet another of their so far short history.
Some users have in fact reported that the latest Smartphones Made by Google would reject some calls for no apparent reason and without interaction from the users themselves.
Google Pixel 6: discovered a new bug related to phone calls
The first report of this new bug that afflicts the current top range of Google was made by the Reddit user / merryjaina who claimed that his smartphone refused some calls without him being notified and without his phone notifying him of a missed call: to realize that he had missed the answer to a call, had to access the call log, where the rejected call appeared.
Following this first report, many other users have shared their experiences, claiming to experience the same problem, indiscriminately on the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
Although in the first instance it was assumed that the “do not disturb” could be the cause of the problem, /merryjaina has denied everything, claiming that on his smartphone the aforementioned mode is not active, confirming, instead, the persistence of the problem. It seems, therefore, that Google Phone on the Google Pixel 6 treats some normal incoming calls as if they were spam calls.
Google has not yet given an official answer to the issue and it is not clear whether the company is aware of the problem and is working to solve it.
As we said at the beginning, this is yet another bug of the current top range of Google and is added to the list of “youth problems” triggered by the Google Tensor-Android pairing. We will see if with the second generation of smartphones of the new course and with Android 13, news expected for the autumn, these frequent bugs can finally be simply a distant memory.
