Android Auto — not to be confused with Android Automotive OS, Google’s operating system for car infotainment systems — is a service in continuous evolution and still very much perfectible, for this reason, we can only welcome every improvement in stability and every new function introduced and the one we are talking about today, which is not exactly revolutionary, it is certainly interesting.
The function we are talking about here has been added quite recently and, if when you are in the car you can not do without the most suitable soundtrack, from now on you will see Android Auto as a better travel companion.
By selecting the music note button next to the notification button — visible in the photo below — the user gets a pop-up showing the available listening options. All users who have had the opportunity to try this function will surely have noticed a not insignificant detail: the options from which you can choose from time to time vary according to the context, or rather at the time of day.
For example, in the morning there is a good chance of finding the News item among the first choices, while maybe in the afternoon Android Auto — via Google Assistant — could offer something more adrenaline and in the evening more relaxing options.
