Chromebook: The 100th Update Brings New Features

This is what Google has already announced today for Chromebooks:

  • New launcher with built-in Google search, faster search for apps and files, new design, new location, the different organization of apps, advanced tab search, and more.
  • Edit text by voice: Now you can also edit these texts with your voice. For example: If you want to delete the last letter, just say “delete”.
  • Camera app with GIF function: From now on, the camera app can create GIF animations up to five seconds long.
  • Family Link for Education: Google makes it possible for education accounts for students to access Google Classroom and school supplies.
  • Chrome OS Flex: The new version refurbishes old PCs and Macs – for free!
