Samsung finally announces the Google Assistant. A new update for the Galaxy Watch 4 is here. This is certainly not a coincidence.
Wear OS 3 was a huge upgrade to the smartwatch operating system and it is only available on a single smartwatch to date. Almost a year after the official presentation. Another shortcoming was the lack of Google Assistant, which Google has planned for a new next-gen version. Now the update will probably finally be delivered.
A first network operator says that Samsung is rolling out the fourth major update for the Galaxy Watch 4 these days. It brings a few new features, including support for the Google Assistant. Verizon has also published screenshots. According to the description, you should now be able to download Google Assistant as an app on the Watch 4.
Google has yet to release a new Assistant app for Wear OS 3
It still seems necessary that Google actually offers the download of the Assistant app. That’s where it just fails. However, it can be assumed that it should not take too long. Just in time before Google unveils its own Pixel Watch, on which of course the Assistant should be there.
