On the day dedicated to the CIVI 1S, Xiaomi also gave space to its new Smart Display 10. This model is currently the one with the largest screen in the brand’s catalog, presenting itself as a top-of-the-range device in the sector, even in price.
The new Xiaomi smart screen comes with lines very similar to those of a Redmi brand Smart Display released a while ago, but not so wide in the diagonal, since here we have a 10.1″ panel. At the bottom, we have the accommodation for the fabric stereo speaker. Very nice the possibility to place it with inclination to 90 ° and 120 ° depending on the needs.
Moving on to the features, we find a 5 MP camera and 115 ° viewing angle, useful for making video calls directly from the device and, if you need privacy protection, you can use the physical slider to cover the lens.
One of the main features is to have a complete hub to manage the smart home products of your home, such as light bulbs, which can be controlled remotely and without smartphones. In addition, there is also a way to entertain children, which identifies them through face recognition. Adults can also watch videos, movies and TV series. Everything is managed through the XiaoAI voice assistant.
The new Xiaomi Smart Display 10 is available in China at a launch price of about 135€ (949 yuan), which for what it offers is quite framed. We do not know if the brand will also bring it to the West, but it is not excluded that we could find it on more well-known import stores.
