In the latest 102 version update of the Microsoft Edge Canary channel, the name “Show experimental appearance settings” was introduced. The experimental flag (shows experimental appearance settings), but unfortunately there are not many new settings available after they are enabled.
The only new option in the skin settings is to have the sidebar application display notifications, but this toggle doesn’t seem to be related to the experimental skin settings managed by the flag.
Another improvement to the latest Edge Canary release is the better “managed search engine”. Edge users can now remove the default search engine from their browser. Google introduced this feature in Chrome 99, and now it’s in Edge 102.
