The Galaxy Z Fold 4 battery capacity leaked

A few days ago, a certification from Safety Korea disclosed two batteries for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 because the foldable design used two separate batteries. But there is still a lack of details about it – we only see the battery itself, and there is no relevant information on the picture.

However, GalaxyClub has now mined the specification information and has two perspectives on the findings. One is a disappointment: the overall battery capacity will remain largely unchanged. The other is in keeping with recent rumors that the camera hardware is significantly thinner and improved. So, to some extent, it’s good news that Samsung didn’t sacrifice battery capacity to achieve these.

One of the batteries is rated at 2002 mAh, while the second is rated at 2268 mAh. The total rated capacity is 4270 mAh, which is in line with the current Galaxy Z Fold3’s rated capacity of 4270 mAh. It is worth noting that rated capacity and typical capacity are two different things, and the manufacturer advertises typical capacity, which in the case of the Z Fold3 is 4400 mAh.

In any case, the new evidence suggests that there won’t be any problems with battery capacity reductions, as previous reports suggest.
