A new control bar is planned for the Google Photos Android app. More and more users are now getting them on their devices. With smart suggestions, Google wants to make it easier to use some Android apps. This also includes Google Photos, which reveals a few important functions to the user faster and much more directly via a new control bar. What this looks like has been known for some time.
It is a bar that offers small chips, which in turn allow functions as quick access. This new control panel appeared last March, but it only now seems to be appearing among users in the app, according to Android Police. This new bar goes beyond the previous “Copy text from image”, it shows significantly more options.
Patience is still required. For me, the new control bar has not yet appeared on any of my devices.
