OnePlus should feel bad

Criticism doesn’t stop. OnePlus continues to get a big rap for problems with the brand new OnePlus 10 Pro. And I have to say from my own experience that the criticism is still very justified. It’s again about the poor performance when scrolling through various apps. The culprit here is the refresh rate of the display, which probably brings some errors with the change to LTPO 2.0.

We’ve had the OnePlus 10 Pro here since it was launched and we’ve also encountered problems. In some apps, the display adjusts itself too aggressively to lower refresh rates, so that the content appears jerky when scrolling through your own feed on Google Photos, for example.

This also occurs with other apps such as Instagram or Flamingo (Twitter). However, since the error does not occur in very many apps, it is probably a bug in the recognition of the screen content. When such an error occurs, but not permanently, it looks like a recoverable error to me.

Scrolling on the OnePlus 10 Pro is bad, and OnePlus should feel bad

You could live with that if the smartphone didn’t cost 900 euros and if the error were finally fixed. But it still isn’t, and as is well known, the high-end telephone is already many months old. Before launching in Europe, it had been available in Asia for some time. Enough time to get rid of such mistakes.

It is all the more frightening that the error occurs in various apps that are pre-installed on the device from the factory. For example YouTube, Google Maps and Google Photos. Shouldn’t that have been noticed in the final test runs? Hopefully OnePlus can still fix this bug.
