Via Reddit, and then bounced on Twitter, we can see a video dedicated to Overwatch 2. Precisely, in this movie, the maps of the first game are compared with the version of the second chapter.
First of all, we need to know that, in Overwatch 2, the authors are inserting alternative versions of the old maps at various times of the day. The ones shown in the video are just different times than in the first game.
The new maps, therefore, will not be “stuck” at dusk or at night as you might think after watching the movie. The purpose of the video is to simply show known maps at different times and therefore with different lighting conditions. However, the video is not exhaustive.

Overwatch 2, of course, will also take care of inserting other content, completely new. The development team has already discussed some of the changes they plan to introduce.
