Google has released Chrome browser version 101.0.4951.64. The developers of the browser close 13 security holes with this version, which is available for Windows, macOS and Linux. 8 of them are rated High in severity.
Access to full vulnerability details is not available until the majority of users are provided with a patch release – a common practice. Google will also keep limitations if the bug exists in a third-party library that other projects depend on in a similar way but have not yet fixed.
In this sense: At best, check for the update shortly, install it and restart the browser briefly.
