Apex Legends earned EA over $2 billion in 3 years

According to EA, the free-to-play Apex Legends game has surpassed $2 billion in net pre-orders since its February 2019 release.

EA Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Chris Suh said Apex Legends’ net bookings increased by 40% in fiscal 2022. About half of Apex Legends’ net pre-order value ($1 billion) was earned during EA’s fiscal 2022 (ending March 31, 2022).

A year ago, former CFO Blake Jorgensen said that Apex Legends would have grossed more than $600 million in fiscal 2021.
