It could well be that Google Photos will surprise you with a new control bar. It offers you quick access to various functions. The rollout of this innovation began a few days ago and now the whole thing is slowly arriving internationally. The new control bar offers functions that could go well with the respective image.
The new control bar has appeared several times for me and so far only with screenshots. Depending on what the Google Photos app deems practical and useful, it will provide you with quick access. Sometimes there are only three options, sometimes even four or five options appear.
