In the past few hours, the OnePlus team of developers has kicked off the release of a new version of wallpaper, an application launched last year for users who want to use their smartphones without exaggerating.
In recent years there has been a lot of talk about the excessive use of the smartphone, which has now become a fundamental part of our daily life, and studies follow one another according to which this “abuse” of the phone is likely to cause various damages.
Wallpaper was conceived by the Chinese giant as a solution that can guarantee users keep under control the time spent looking at the screen in a discreet way while providing information on the most used applications.
What’s new in WellPaper version 2.2.0
The new version of wallpaper is 2.2.0 and with it, a user interface is introduced characterized by a more modern and clean design, which should make its use more pleasant overall.
In addition, three new backgrounds are introduced, called Botanical Garden, Cosmos and Donut Shop, which thus join the other three already available (Composition, Glow and Radial):
And again, with this version the Donuts background is introduced with six donuts that all represent a different category of the app: each of them will be gradually eaten as the user uses the applications that belong to the relative category.
Another new feature is the ability to exclude certain applications from the tracking functionality and display their data in the background. Finally, all wallpapers now support the feature that shows the time with a tap on an empty part of the screen, with the ability to disable it through the settings menu.
