Tesla opens superchargers in other countries

Last year Elon Musk announced that the superchargers will also be opened up to other electric cars. Shortly thereafter, a pilot phase started in the Netherlands. This is closed there, the network is open to everyone.

Tesla opens superchargers in more countries

Earlier this year, Tesla expanded the testing phase, adding France and Norway. Today it continues, because a whole bunch of new countries are added: Spain, Great Britain, Sweden, Belgium and Austria.

This is also the pilot program, so not all locations are included yet. The best way to find out if you can charge at a supercharger is the Tesla app (you will need it anyway). I’m still waiting for the start in Germany and hope that Bruchsal will then be included as a location because I live not far from the Supercharger. Currently my best alternative for fast chargers is a motorway service station and that is annoying.
