Apple began to issue additional invitations to developers who applied to participate in the WWDC22 Global Developers Conference to fill the vacancies formed by previously invited developers who did not respond or were unable to attend.
On April 6, Apple announced that it will hold the annual Global Developers Conference online from June 6 to 10 for all developers to participate free of charge. Apple said that on the basis of the successful holding of the previous two online conferences.
WWDC22 will showcase the cutting-edge innovations of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS, while providing developers with the opportunity to communicate with Apple engineers and use Apple technology, so as to learn How to create breakthrough apps and interactive experiences.
At this WWDC22 developer conference, Apple is expected to release new systems of iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS 13, watchOS 9, and tvOS 16. In early May, WWDC22 began accepting applications. Members of the Apple Developer Program and Apple Developer Enterprise Program, as well as entrants to the 2022 Swift Student Challenge, can submit applications. Applications close on May 11, and finalists will be determined by random selection
