Samsung Galaxy Watch 4: Google Assistant ensures significantly shorter battery life

For a few days now, the Google Assistant has finally been rolled out on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 (Classic). The users had to wait almost 9 months for it. But now there seem to be problems with the Google Assistant on the smartwatch.

Overall, the Google Assistant on the Galaxy Watch 4 is the best thing ever on a Wear OS watch. However, not all that glitters is gold, as initial tests now show. Because the battery life of the clock seems to be dramatically worse.

Activating the Google Assistant is said to use a lot of battery power. After about two hours, the charge level of the watch should have dropped from full to 80 percent. This would allow the watch to last a maximum of 10 hours a day, so it would have to be charged twice a day.

Although the Google Assistant on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 (Classic) is very fast and reliable, it is also extremely battery-hungry. And what use is the fastest assistant if the watch doesn’t even last half a day?! Let’s hope that future updates will bring a significant improvement here.
