How to enter the Galaxy Watch 4 beta program

A few hours after the announcement of the opening of a beta program for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, the Korean giant is ready to kick off this interesting initiative. In the United States, in fact, users already have the possibility to register to receive the first beta version of the Korean giant’s smartwatch, which should introduce some improvements to Samsung’s customized Wear OS interface.

When the Samsung Members app opens, “One UI Watch Beta” appears in the carousel and the related page explains that the beta program will allow users to preview new features and interface changes.

These are the steps to follow to take part in the One UI Watch Beta Program:

  • In the Samsung Members app, log in with your Samsung account. If you don’t have a Samsung account, create an account on the Samsung Account site.
  • Once logged into the Samsung Members app, select “Alerts> One UI Watch Beta Program Registration”.
  • Fill out and submit the application form. If you meet the participation criteria, you will be enrolled in the One UI Watch Beta program.

Once successfully enrolled in the Beta program, users will receive update notifications at the start of the Beta. To install the Beta software you need to select “Settings> Software update> Download and install” or use the update menu in the Galaxy Wearable app. Samsung states that beta software updates are being rolled out gradually to participants in the One UI Watch Beta program.

At the moment it seems that it is also necessary to have a Samsung smartphone to join the program and it will probably be necessary to wait until June 2, 2022 for the release of the first beta version for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. We’ll see.
