With the inaugural season of Battlefield 2042 just around the corner, DICE recently confirmed that there will only be one new map for the first season.
In response to a fan’s question about how many new maps will be available in Battlefield 2042 Season 1, DICE community manager Straatford87 said: “I can confirm that we’re talking about a single map in the video.”
In addition to the new map, Straatford87 also said that the arsenal of the “Total War ” mode of “Battlefield 2042” will be expanded, and there will be classic weapons from the “Battlefield Portal” mode.
The first season of Battlefield 2042 will launch in early June.
