Google: Is there a manipulative intention behind the Pixel leaks?

Google won’t answer this question for us, but you can ask it. Is Google even deliberately scattering some leaks about new Pixel hardware? A few days ago we reported that new Google hardware sometimes leaks extremely early and often very unusually. In recent years, it has happened more frequently that new Google devices have even been left behind in bars or have literally fallen off the truck.

But even in the digital world, Google does not have well-closed doors. This is odd, given the focus on security that Google consistently emphasizes for its own software and hardware. But maybe it shouldn’t work at all for new devices to remain completely secret? In any case, one could assume, for example, based on the recent story about the upcoming Google Pixel 6a.

Google Pixel 6a appears in a video that was quickly deleted

So far, Google has revealed the datasheet for the Pixel 6a but otherwise has published little material. The graphic renderings are not worth mentioning. Of course, real photo material and especially moving image material is exciting. How fast is Google Tensor with just 6GB of RAM by its side? How fast is the fingerprint sensor, which is officially different from the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro?

Curious enough that a few days ago, a video went online directly from Google that showed the fingerprint sensor in action. That was almost the only action of the smartphone that was demonstrated in the said video. Is that just a coincidence after the top stories about the new fingerprint sensor, or is Google playing very specifically with the media here?

Has Google deliberately manipulated us?

What happened was interesting, as even after this mini snippet, some colleagues have said they find the new fingerprint sensor to be faster. Interesting because this component was particularly heavily criticized in the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. With this leak, Google would have easily achieved that the Pixel 6a was positively in the limelight and with one second of moving images.
