Microsoft is developing a Windows 11 application, Designer, based on the Microsoft Edge browser. This is a new service similar to Canva, a graphic design platform for creating social media graphics, presentations, posters, and more.
Microsoft already has PowerPoint, a powerful tool for creating any keynote for businesses or students. But Canva is more user-friendly, and anyone can easily get started with the service, thanks to ready-made templates, a rich selection of fonts, and more.
PowerPoint focuses on presentations, while Canva offers more complex designs with an interface optimized for drag and drop. The app was briefly available to anyone with a personal or school account through the designer.microsoft.com website. But the site is now offline. The designer appears to be a Canva-like web app that can be promoted as an all-in-one solution for students and students who need professional-looking graphics, beautiful slideshows, Facebook ads, LinkedIn images, animated Instagram posts, and other brand assets.
