Meta is working on his messenger again. According to the company, calls from the app have increased by 40% since 2020, so they want to give it more space. Therefore, there should be a new tab for calls in the central overview, which will line up in the lower menu bar next to “Chats”, “People” and “Stories”.
The tab not only takes you to pure audio calls, but also to video calls. Previously it was necessary to first open a thread with a contact in order to start a call from there. With the new tab, you just switch to the view for the calls and can then select the contact with whom you want to make an audio or video call from a list.
The innovation will be distributed immediately, but unfortunately, it has not yet arrived on Android for me personally. What about you?
