Tesla to roll out feature that automatically closes windows when it rains

In response to user feedback, Musk promised that Tesla will launch a new feature that can help users automatically close any open windows when rain is detected to prevent moisture in the car.

In response, Elon Musk replied to a beta tester for Tesla Full-Self-Driving that Tesla would roll out the feature. The Twitter user asked: “Do we have the ability to automatically close the windows if Tesla detects rain and the windows are open when the vehicle is parked?” Musk replied, Of course.

Tesla already provides most of the user-friendly body control functions, such as “auto-lock when leaving the car.” Of course, this feature needs to be enabled by the user through the “Lock” menu. When the user leaves the car with a phone or car keys, it automatically locks the doors and trunk.

Additionally, users can enable the “Close doors and windows when locked” feature. When the user turns on both settings, the car automatically locks and closes the windows when people leave, with the exception of when it is parked in the garage at home.
