Final Fantasy 16: The new trailer of the state of play sets the launch window!

At the end of a State of Play already full of announcements and surprises, Naoki Yoshida, producer of Square Enix’s Creative Business Unit III, appeared to present a new, sparkling trailer for Final Fantasy 16!

The three-minute-long film begins by offering some hints on the plot, centered on “a world in turmoil ruled by tyranny, in which some have decided to fight to regain control of their own destiny”.

Space then to the actual gameplay, with numerous scenes dedicated to the combat system, to the presentation of the summons, whose names will make the ears of all Final Fantasy fans ring: Phoeinix, Titan, Garuda, Ramu, Shiva, Odin, Ifrit and Behemot.

The trailer, which you can admire at the opening of the news, concludes by confirming that Final Fantasy 16 will be launched in the summer of 2023 on PlayStation 5. The development team, headed by Hiroshi Takai, is now grappling with the final stages of processing and is focusing on refining the gameplay experience. Naoki Yoshida also assured us that in the future his team will speak more often with the press, so we can expect a lot of new information between now and the launch date.
