While direct competition is enriched with the Serie A Team of the Season, eFootball 2022 enters a new chapter in its history with the publication of Patch 1.1.0 on PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC.
Patch 1.1.0 marks an important turning point for Konami’s football simulation since it intervenes on multiple aspects of production (with changes to playability and the resolution of multiple problems), it lays the foundations for Season 2 which will take them away on June 16 and coincides with the debut of eFootball 2022 on mobile devices.
The development team has taken advantage of the numerous feedback received from players since the release of the April update and, among other things, improved the reaction time for cursor changes, and fixed the issue related to goalkeepers not running towards.
The ball using the appropriate command, implemented some improvements to the “Stadium” and “Live broadcast” camera settings so that the direction in which it is attacking is now more visible immediately after resuming the game with a goal kick, and improved the position of the defenders and stop management, reduced response time for dribbles and reduced application crash issues and more. Today’s update, we said, also introduces support for eFootball World Season 2, which will officially kick off on June 16. Entitled “European Leagues Highlights – Clubs, Team Playstyles and Prime Players”, it will celebrate the best, but also the saddest, moments of the European football season, focusing on the concept of “Team Play Style”.
Players from European clubs who have shown excellent performance in the 2021-2022 campaign will be introduced with enhanced Playing Style Proficiency levels and new card designs. A special Access Bonus campaign will also be organized in the next few days to allow everyone to obtain game items of various types, such as Coins, Football and Targeted Contracts.
Today Konami is also pleased to present the eFootball 2022 version for mobile devices to the world. Available as an update for eFootball PES 2021 mobile, it officially kicks off a whole new generation, with new controls that enable a more modern football experience, supported by an extensive reinterpretation of player animations and ball behavior.
