Apple released iOS 16, iPadOS 16 systems, and has released the first developer preview Beta. With each new major OS update, Apple continues to improve the Messages app and the Memoji characters available throughout iOS, and iOS 16 is no exception. Memoji users should be aware of several new Memoji customization options.
Apple has added six new Memoji sticker poses, including chef’s kiss, yawning, hands under chin, dizzy by birds, and more. There are 17 new and updated hairstyles available, including curly styles and updates to box braids and tight curly styles, as well as new hat options in the hat section.
There are plenty of new nose options, and some extra neutral lip colors to choose from. Apple also allows any Memoji sticker to be used as your contact avatar, opening up many new options. In iOS 15, only selected facial poses were available as contact avatars, but in iOS 16, all stickers are available.
